Education And Experience

Jeanette Wylie has a wide background of experiences which enables her to successfully work with a group, listen to input from all sides, and arrive at the best possible solution.   With the new structure of the City Council, the six districts of Vacaville are now represented by a Councilmember and the Mayor is elected by all voting residents.   As Councilmember for District 6, Jeanette Wylie considers input and issues from residents, while at the same time considers the needs of the entire city and the other districts.  Boundaries in District 6 did not change when the new Vacaville district map was adopted after input from the 2020 census data.

Jeanette Wylie has worked collaboratively with parents, administration, board members, and colleagues, during her career.  During that time, Wylie always kept her focus on the education of her students.
